Josh Lewis, PhD
Partner
Josh is a former biomedical researcher and experienced search consultant. He has deep experience leading senior searches across higher education, academic medicine, and the not-for-profit sector. He has a track record of successful partnerships with our clients, where his deep expertise in executive search and background as a research scientist gives him a keen understanding of the institutions we serve and the issues they face.
Prior to cofounding Lewis Ryan Executive Search, Josh served as a Principal with a top 10 global firm where he led searches in higher education, healthcare services, and life sciences.
Josh holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology from Emory University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering from the University of Georgia.
Maureen Ryan Fogarty
Partner
Maureen is a former international health system executive and experienced talent consultant. She works with voluntary boards and executive leadership teams to create talent strategies that align with their organization’s business plans.
Prior to cofounding Lewis Ryan Executive Search, Maureen worked for another global executive search firm recruiting executives to leadership roles in healthcare, higher education, and non-for-profit organizations. She developed partnerships with clients to optimize their Board diversity and governance best practices.
Earlier in her career, Maureen was a hospital administrator who created patient experience and advocacy programs in organizations that included Johns Hopkins Health System, MedStar Health, and Hallmark Health. She also led physician recruitment, retention, and practice acquisitions.
Maureen holds a BA in Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University and studied law at Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America. She is a Board member of the Leapfrog Group.
